My HIFU procedure was done just 3 weeks ago. Three days after the procedure, I was walking several miles per day. Six days after the HIFU, I was in Niagara Falls on a helicopter ride and bouncing down the class 5 rapids on the jet boat tour.
My girlfriend and I then took a 2 week driving vacation through Montreal and Quebec. There was almost zero post surgical pain, and my lifestyle was barely compromised in the following weeks. The catheter was removed last Friday, and I am urinating as usual. My sexual function returned 10 days following the procedure. I met with 2 of my friends that had the conventional surgeries 2 years ago. Both are still experiencing post surgical problems. To this point, I am very happy with my choice of the HIFU procedure.
